The transfer saga that is the future of Jadon Sancho has taken yet another turn as the winger looks to seal a move away from Old Trafford.
Sancho has been out of The Red Devils’ plans now for over a year and a half after a public bust up with Erik ten Hag saw him exiled on loan to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the 2023/24 season.
Upon his return, both Juventus and Chelsea were looking to take the former England international on a season-long loan, with his wage demands being too much to justify a permanent move.
Ultimately, the winger ended up at Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea holding an obligation to buy for £25 million, which The Blues pulled out from for a penalty fee of £5 million.

Now, back at Old Trafford, Sancho isn’t in the long-term plans for new manager Ruben Amorim, leading to the 25-year-old trying to find his next club.
Recently, the front-runners for his signature have been Juventus, with Sancho preferring a move to Turin over anywhere else.
It was recently reported that Juve and United were working on sealing a deal for the want-away star, looking at the split of fixed fee and add-ons to meet United’s valuation of the winger.

However, this deal may now be in question with a new understanding of Juve’s priorities.
Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Juve are now seeing Sancho as a plan B for if they can’t secure the future of recent loanee Francisco Conceiçao.
The 22-year-old has been on loan from Porto since last summer and has shown real promise, grabbing seven goals and six assists in 40 games, including two goals in three games at the Club World Cup.
It’s understood that Juventus are prioritising a permanent move for Conceiçao , with a move for Jadon Sancho being a back up if the Portugal international wont be with them next season.
Unfortunately this suggests a big setback in a move which seemed to only be hinging on Sancho’s wages, with the winger even considering a wage cut to make the move happen.
However, this doesn’t rule out a move for Sancho to Turin, merely that it may not be as imminent as first thought.
