Giants trade TE Darren Waller to Dolphins

The New York Giants announced that they have agreed to terms on a trade with the Miami Dolphins for a 2026 sixth-round draft pick in exchange for a conditional 2027 seventh-round selection and tight end Darren Waller, who had announced his retirement in June of 2024.

Waller last played in the 2023 regular-season finale, capping off his lone year with the Giants after they acquired him from the Las Vegas Raiders for a third-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Waller, who made a Pro Bowl in 2020 with the Raiders, caught 52 passes for 552 yards and a touchdown in 12 games (11 starts) as a Giant.
