The Salt Lake City Summer League saw an exciting result on Monday night as the Utah Jazz walked away with a 112-111 win against the Memphis Grizzlies. Although a win is a welcome sight for the Jazz, NBA fans were more focused on GG Jackson's attempted game-tying shot that came up short.

Monday night's schedule had the Utah Jazz hosting the Memphis Grizzlies. While the Jazz featured a young star in No. 5 overall pick Ace Bailey, the Grizzlies had their standout performers in their midst.
The game may have resulted in a win for the Jazz, but it was a hard-fought battle until the very end, quite literally. In the closing seconds of the final frame, Grizzlies forward GG Jackson almost pulled off a miracle, shooting a driving buzzer-beating three-pointer to tie the game and send it to overtime.
Unfortunately, with his foot barely touching the line, the shot attempt was ruled a two-pointer, seeing the Grizzlies come up short by a couple of millimeters.
The shocking display had NBA fans on the edge of their seats. While taking note of the situation, a few fans shared their reactions to the unfortunate outcome of the game as well.
"That was a three, bro,"said one fan, criticizing the officiating.
Another fan shared the same sentiment and said, "That short ref is so bad never call him up."
"Would've been clutch,"added another, acknowledging the merit behind the play.

Another fan, who was still in shock after the shot, added, "Ain't no way he hit that."
One fan, in particular, shared a rather poetic response and said, "He missed by an inch but gained a parable, sometimes the rim giveth, sometimes it just reminds you who you are."

One fan knocked Jackson's response to coming up short and said, "Imagine your franchise guy breaking down over a summer league loss."
Another fan drew parallels to Kevin Durant's iconic playoff moment and said, "Haha KD moment in the summer league is hilarious work."
Another fan simply found a way to diss Jazz fans by saying, "Probably the only game the Jazz will win this season."
Although the Grizzlies came up short, they will have some positive takeaways from the game, particularly Jackson's development.
Having recorded 27 points, five rebounds, and two blocks with 11-of-17 shooting from the field, Memphis will look forward to seeing what the young forward can bring to the table in the regular season.
Meanwhile, the Jazz saw a promising performance by Ace Bailey, who had 18 points on the night. But it was Brice Sensabaugh who stole the show, with 37 points and four assists in the team's win.
