Manchester United are keeping busy in the summer transfer window as they begin to implement the squad overhaul demanded by Ruben Amorim.
The Red Devils recognise that significant changes are necessary if they hope to climb back up the Premier League table in the upcoming season, following a disappointing 2024/25 campaign. They've already secured the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Diego Leon, but are keen to make further additions.
United are also focusing on offloading several players, including Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Tyrell Malacia, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho and others. They understand that these departures will be crucial in giving Amorim the opportunity to turn things around.
Despite this, the club's backroom staff continue to scout for new signings in a competitive market. The absence of European football at Old Trafford next season is proving to be a hindrance, but according to recent reports, a few new arrivals could be imminent.
Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at the latest Manchester United transfer news.

United's pursuit of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo has been ongoing for some time now, but a breakthrough has yet to be made. However, it's still anticipated that the deal will eventually go through – it's just taking longer than expected.
Brentford are understandably driving a hard bargain over the transfer fee, especially after Mbeumo's stellar 2024/25 season where he netted 20 Premier League goals. Despite this, United remain engaged in negotiations.
The Cameroon international is eager to join United and personal terms aren't an issue. But fees in the region of £60million that Chelsea have paid for Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens are strengthening their stance.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that United are still hopeful of securing a deal, but negotiations are ongoing and no agreement has been reached yet.

Italian outlet Calciomercato report that United are on the verge of signing Valencia midfielder Javi Guerra. Despite interest from AC Milan, it seems United have taken the lead in the race for his signature.
AC Milan were reportedly preparing a bid between €25m and €30m (£21m-£25m), while Mundo Deportivo have linked Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa with an interest in Guerra. The 22-year-old, who has two years remaining on his contract at Valencia, has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 89 appearances so far.

Meanwhile, United could receive a financial boost from an unexpected source. Although they have no control over the potential sale of Mason Greenwood this summer, having sold him to Marseille last year, he could still generate some funds for them.
Greenwood had a productive campaign at Marseille last season, netting 21 goals in Ligue 1, and has attracted interest from Juventus and Barcelona. Now, reports from Spain suggest that Al-Ahli have entered the race and have tabled a €70m (£60m) offer.
This could be a boost for United, who have a 50 per cent sell-on clause in Greenwood's contract. The 23-year-old is contracted to Marseille until June 2029.
