Rafael Leao will stay at AC Milan despite interest from LIVERPOOL, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, new boss Massimiliano Allegri has said in the media this week as he seek to keep his best players at the Italian giants.
The 26-year-old winger, widely regarded as one of the most exciting attacking talents in world football, has developed into one of the most creative players in Seria A over the past few seasons
Enjoying his sixth year at the San Siro, Leao has well and truly settled into life in Milan following a 2019 switch from Lille and his performances in Italy have caught the attention of some of Europe’s elite teams, including Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, Man United and Chelsea.
Leao is tied into a deal with Milan until 2028 and reports have suggested the Portugal international had an eye-watering €175m (£150m) release clause – which would have to be paid in full by potential suitors to force a move.
Tuttomercatoweb recently claimed that *LIVERPOOL*have made contact with AC Milan over Rafael Leao. They have reported that the Reds made contact with the winger earlier in the transfer window as Arne Slot considers his options.
However – amid all the speculation and rumours, Allegri has opened up and claimed that Leao will not be leaving the club this transfer window: “Rafa can do excellent things next season,” said Allegri when asked about Leao during a press conference.
“I’m sure I can bring out that extra something he’s been missing. I’m glad he’s stayed, he’s now more responsible, more mature, and has all the qualities to become one of the best.

But the news that he will not be leaving Milan will upset a few clubs, he is a player that many sides would like.
