Vitor Pereira is hoping to build on what he did at Wolves, and the manager will hope for new faces to come in at Molineux.
It has been a quiet start to the summer on the incomings front, with only Fer Lopez coming in so far.
It’s all gone quiet in the last couple of weeks, but hopefully, with Wolves about to fly to the Algarve for pre-season training, the manager will get some new additions.
But Vitor Pereira showed last season he can get a lot of out of this current crop.
And one man he really took a liking to, was Marshall Munetsi.
Munetsi was signed from Reims at the end of the January transfer window for around £16 million (via Zimsphere), and was tasked with bringing energy to Wolves.
He made 16 appearances for Wanderers, starting the majority of those matches.
Munetsi had his critics at times, with some questioning his ability on the ball, but he was a firm favourite with Pereira, and some new comments from the Zimbabwe international strongly suggest why the Portuguese is such a huge fan.

Munetsi arrived from Reims, just like Emmanuel Agbadou.
The 29-year-old had seen his former teammate shine at Wolves in the few weeks he had been there, and was likely hoping to make a similar impact.
Munetsi started all but two Premier League games for Wolves after he signed, and it was clear that Pereira really loved what he brought to the table.
At one point, Pereira hailed Munetsi for the improvements made by Jorgen Strand Larsen, as he felt the midfielder made good runs into the box and occupied markers.
What has always been clear about Munetsi is that his work-rate is outstanding. He will run all day, and there is not an ounce of ego about him – and the comments he’s made about this work-rate are brilliant.
He said: “I’ve always said that as long as I’m breathing, I’ll always give everything for the club. This is the mentality that I have since I was a kid. When people bring you to do a job, you want to do it to the best of your abilities and I think having that work rate is one of my qualities.
“I always want to run as much as I can to make sure that we win the games, and it’s fun when you also have people appreciate whatever you’re doing. At the end of the day, it’s more important to get good results, but those results only come after sacrificing blood, sweat and tears on the pitch.”
Munetsi can be a very useful player for Wolves
Munetsi has been a fascinating signing so far for Wolves.
It has been very clear to see that the defensive side of his game is much stronger than the offensive side.
But he really does his job in terms of helping Wolves to press as a unit so well.

For the other players, and also the manager, it must be a dream to have someone like that playing in the team.
Some are still yet to see his value. And there may well be an argument to suggest Munetsi should have a reduced role at Wolves next season if the team is to truly kick on.
But he still definitely has a role to play, and one would imagine Pereira will hand him a fair amount of starts in 2025/26.
