Man Utd are in the market for a striker this summer and could trigger a release clause to do it.
Manchester United only have a week left if they want to activate the release clause for Fiorentina striker Moise Kean in the summer transfer window. Ruben Amorim has prioritised attacking additions to his squad this summer as he aims to overhaul a forward line that managed just 44 goals in the Premier League last season.
Matheus Cunha reported to Carrington at the start of the week after his £62.5 million move from Wolves, while talks continue over a deal for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo. Those two additions would significantly improve the forward line, though Amorim would also like to add a striker to his squad if possible.
United have already missed out on preferred target Liam Delap after he opted for a move to Chelsea, while dream arrival Viktor Gyokeres looks set to join Arsenal. United are keeping their options open when it comes to strikers, though time could be running out to sign Kean this summer.

Manchester United striker search continues
Manchester United have just a week remaining if they are to trigger the release clause for Moise Kean. It is understood the Fiorentina forward has a €52 million (£44.83m) release clause in his current contract that can be triggered until Tuesday 15 July.
After that date, the 25-year-old could still move this summer, but the power would be back in Fiorentina's hands, and they could even command a fee higher than the release clause. It means that if any team wishes to buy him, they would be best getting it done sooner rather than later.
That is particularly problematic for United, given their pursuit of a striker relies on player sales. A deal for Bryan Mbeumo can be funded from their initial transfer budget, but they will only be able to move for a striker once they have moved on some of the players who are deemed surplus to requirements this summer. The uncertainty over player exits also poses another problem in that United don't know how much they've got to spend until they have received fees for the likes of Alejandro Garnacho, Marcus Rashford and Antony.
United have expressed a genuine interest in Kean this summer and have kept tabs on him as a potential striker solution. The Athletic claim United are the Premier League team that have expressed the most interest in his signature, though he also has interest from Saudi Arabia. The report adds United have been offered the chance to sign free agents Dominic Calvert-Lewin, Jamie Vardy and Callum Wilson, though they would only advance on these, if at all, towards the end of the window if they do not get any of their top targets.
