Jessie Gale pens first professional Arsenal deal

Arsenal Women have this morning announced that young striker Jessie Gale has signed her first professional contract with the club.

The 18-year-old only joined the Gunners' youth ranks in January 2024, but has quickly risen through the ranks and is now an integral figure in the club's U21 side.

Most recently, Gale spent the 2024/25 season on dual registration with FA Women's National League side Watford, for whom she scored seven goals and assisted a further five across 21 appearances in all competitions.

Her domestic rise to prominence has also garnered international attention, with Gale receiving her first international call-up for the England U19s in October 2024, and most recently featuring at the 2025 U19 European Championship.

Since making her international debut, Gale has played five more times for Lauren Smith's Young Lionesses, during which time she has scored four goals and assisted one.
