Jack Harrison is not the most popular figure around Everton.

The winger had a bleak 2024/25 season, managing just one goal in 34 Premier League matches during his second consecutive campaign on loan at Goodison Park.

David Moyes’ side have had a slow start to the summer transfer window, with Harrison emerging as a surprise potential target once again.

Everton could move for Harrison as one of four major transfers

The Blues are finally looking to bolster the final third this summer and are also looking at a move for Ipswich Town’s Omari Hutchinson.

Alan Myers recently revealed there had been talks of a possible return for Harrison at the end of last season, but that the whispers had gone quiet since.

MORE TOFFEES STORIES

Now, according to The I Paper (8 July), Everton are toying with the idea of returning to Leeds to sign Harrison once more.

Moyes needs to refresh his side, and though Harrison has seemingly not done enough to earn a move, he is a known quantity in a window of so much potential change.

The 28-year-old would add much-needed depth to the Blues and could allow them to be more “ambitious” with targets from elsewhere, should he be available at the right price.

Leeds could let the winger go for a cut price, with the Whites likely to listen to offers for the winger who doesn’t look to be in Daniel Farke’s plans.

Everton to be forgiven for Harrison signing

There are worries that the Toffees are showing a lack of intention this summer.

Everton fans could forgive Moyes for signing Harrison should they pick up more ambitious new additions from elsewhere.

Having already lost Dominic Calvert-Lewin, the Toffees are in desperate need of attacking reinforcements this summer.

Fans won’t have the patience to put up with Harrison’s lack of end product, but should the Friedkin Group sign quality players elsewhere, the Blues would be happy to move forward.
