Inter Milan are waiting to see if Aston Villa offer the €30-35m they want to sell Yann Bisseck this summer.
That’s according to Tuttosport, who namecheck Aston Villa as the side currently out in front for the defender.
The newspaper explains that Inter are currently focused on sales as they look to balance their books and reshape the squad following a disastrous end to last season.
Bisseck is seen as one of those who can leave, having been perceived as taking Hakan Çalhanoğlu’s side in the war of words with Lautaro Martinez that is currently splitting the Italian club down the middle.
He’s already been linked with several Premier League sides, but Tuttosport insist it is currently Aston Villa in front. They are namechecked specifically as a suitor, but they are not the only ones according to Tuttosport.
Inter Milan are happy to sell, but only if they can ensure a profit on the German this summer. That would require them selling for €30-35m. It remains to be seen if Aston Villa will offer such a figure for him.
The Italians are in no rush to sell, having once seen Bisseck as the man to rebuild their defence around, and so they’ll wait for that right offer to arrive before making any moves with him.
