The 20-year-old was pre-selected by French national team coach Frederic Fauthoux for the EuroBasket tournament running from August 27 to September 14.
But before joining the national squad for their July 24 training camp at INSEP, Sarr will showcase his skills in Las Vegas during the NBA Summer League from July 10 to 20.
Sarr is the only player from the French pre-selection who will participate in the Summer League with their NBA team.
Following the Summer League, Sarr will immediately join the French national team as they begin their EuroBasket preparations.
The first friendly match is scheduled for August 4 in Pau, France, where Sarr could make his official debut for the national team against Montenegro.
Last season, Sarr showed promising development in the NBA, averaging 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting 39.4% from the field and 30.8% from beyond the arc.
