Sheffield United narrowly missed out on bouncing back to the Premier League next season after coming third in the Championship last year.
Whilst The Blades made it to the play-offs final, Sunderland got the better of them with a 2-1 win, seeing The Black Cats return to the Premier League after eight years away.
Now, Sheffield United are looking to do even better this year to gain promotion to the Prem, recently announcing their newest set of recruits.
Taking to their official website, The Blades have confirmed eleven players have been given their first professional contracts at the club, including the son of a Manchester United legend.

Whilst Max Asante-Boakye has joined from Aston Villa, the remaining ten contracts have all been handed to their own academy stars.
Archie Christie-Crainie, Coby Hewitson, Frankie Jones, Jackson Blaize and Seth Okyere have all stepped up to the Under-21s side with their first professional contracts alongside Zach Giggs, the son of United legend Ryan Giggs.
Zach Giggs was a member of the Manchester United youth academy, however in 2023 moved to Sheffield United to join the Under-18s side.
Since then, the 18-year-old right back has been impressing for club and country, getting recent call-ups to the Wales Under-19s national side, playing in the UEFA Euro Under-19s Qualifiers.

The young defender is no doubt hoping to follow in his father’s footsteps who became an Old Trafford legend making 963 appearances for Manchester United, grabbing 168 goals and 269 assists over his 24 year professional career.
In this time, Giggs won 13 Premier League titles, four FA Cups, four English League Cups and nine English Supercups, and that’s just domestically.
Alongside this already impressive trophy cabinet, the former Wales international won the FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Supercup and two Champions League titles.
