Syracuse, N.Y. ― Judah Mintz put on a stellar performance for the Philadelphia 76ers in NBA Summer League action on Monday night.
Mintz, the former Syracuse University guard, scored a team-high 21 points to along with four rebounds, two assists and a steal as the 76ers faced Oklahoma City in the NBA’s Utah summer league.
Despite Mintz’s efforts, Philadelphia lost 89-78 to the Thunder.
Mintz started and played 24 minutes in Monday night’s game. He shot 7-for-12 from the field and connected on one of his two attempts from 3-point range. He also made all six of his free throws.
Monday’s game was the second of the NBA’s abbreviated summer league in Utah before most of the NBA’s teams convene in Las Vegas later this week. He had 11 points and four assists in Philly’s 93-89 loss to Utah on Saturday.
Mintz is one of six former Syracuse players on summer league rosters. The 6-foot-4 guard was undrafted after leaving Syracuse following his sophomore season. He led the Orange with 18.8 points per game in the 2023-24 season.
He spent last year with the 76ers’ G-League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats. In 40 G-League games, Mintz averaged 18.4 points, 4.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals.
Philadephia’s next game is Tuesday night against Memphis. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. and will be televised on NBA TV.
