Luis Diaz might want security on his registration if Barcelona plans to sign him this summer.
The Colombian forward has been in the headlines for almost one and a half months now, as his future at Liverpool remains uncertain. Several clubs want to bring Diaz this summer, as per multiple sources.
Bayern Munich are reportedly pushing hard for the 28-year-old, with earlier reports suggesting the forward has already agreed to a verbal deal with the German side. The Bundesliga champions are likely to negotiate the transfer fee with Liverpool and might have to pay around £70m to bring Diaz to the Allianz Arena this summer.
Although Barcelona and Al-Nassr are also interested, Diaz might prefer to stay in Europe for now. Barcelona reportedly attempted to sign him in June, but Liverpool rejected their offer, according to various sources.
Luis Diaz was also said to prefer Barcelona as his next destination, according to reports last month. However, the Catalan club shifted their focus to Nico Williams later in June.
They eventually failed to sign the Spanish youngster, who reportedly wanted registration guarantees. Barcelona couldn’t meet that condition, and Nico went on to sign a new deal with Athletic Bilbao.

Luis Diaz is looking for registration security in the Barcelona move
While Barcelona are still in the race to sign Luis Diaz, Diario AS reports that his agent is now seeking a compensation clause in case the club fails to register the Colombian forward.
Barcelona’s struggles with player registration in recent seasons have impacted many transfer targets. Nico Williams also reportedly turned them down for the same reason.
Barcelona are already facing difficulties negotiating with Liverpool, and this new demand could make the deal even more complicated.
