Leeds United may have to push hard to sign Torino goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic this transfer window.
Illan Meslier’s future at Elland Road is uncertain after being dropped from the starting lineup towards the end of last season due to multiple errors in between the sticks.
Daniel Farke could instead have Milinkovic-Savic in his ranks ahead of next season, with the Whites considering paying his £17.2million release clause.
The reality of the Serbia international’s move to the West Yorkshire outfit has now been confirmed, and the hierarchy in LS11 may have to go all out to secure his transfer.

It’s been claimed that while the West Yorkshire outfit have room to spend more freely after winning Premier League promotion, it may not matter as the Serie A champions and the Red Devils also have the Serbian shot-stopper on their radar.
The West Yorkshire outfit will arguably have to make an enticing offer to the goalkeeper, but even then, a transfer to Elland Road isn’t guaranteed.

Farke must push for Meslier replacement after defensive transfers
LOSC Lille left-back Gabriel Gudmundsson could be Leeds’ third defensive addition of the summer after Jaka Bijol and Sebastiaan Bornauw’s arrival.
The Whites also signed former VfL Wolfsburg forward Lukas Nmecha as a free agent recently, and it will be interesting to see who arrives in LS11 before the start of next season.
Farke should demand further reinforcements in other areas of the pitch in the coming weeks, and a new goalkeeper must be a priority.
Leeds can’t have Meslier as their number one going into the upcoming campaign, as it looks like the German manager has lost faith in him.
Several players like Chelsea’s Djoedje Petrovic and Southampton shot-stopper Aaron Ramsdale have been linked with a move to Elland Road.
The Whites appear to be working on strengthening their goalkeeping department this summer, but it remains to be seen who they will sign.
Milinkovic-Savic’s future will surely be closely followed in LS11.
