Kansas City Radio Host Makes Demand of 'Fat' Patrick Mahomes After Concerning Photos

Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are starting to gear up for the 2025 NFL season. With training camp and preseason action right around the corner, the Chiefs are hoping to make yet another Super Bowl run.

After losing in the big game last year to the Philadelphia Eagles, Mahomes and company have had all offseason to let that motivate them.

On July 4, Mahomes was caught in photos celebrating the holiday with his wife Brittany. The pictures raise some concerns about possible weight gain for the superstar quarterback.

While there is no reason to panic and Mahomes is still likely to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, one radio host did not hold back on the Kansas City superstar.

Kevin Kietzman, who hosts the show "Uncanceled" on KCMO Talk Radio, spoke out harshly about Mahomes. He criticized the quarterback for his physical appearance.

"Vacation photos are popping up of Patrick Mahomes, and he's fat. I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna tell you the truth, that’s why you hit the play button, he's an embarrassment," he said. "You're a $500 million quarterback, you've made all these comments in the offseason that ‘We're gonna do our talking on the field, we got our butts kicked in the Super Bowl, we're coming back with a vengeance.’ Dude, you're fat. Your belly would be fat at my pool, hanging out with us, 60 year olds. My skin is flabbier than yours, I get it. Stop. Stop the fast food. Do a sit-up. Do something."

In addition, Kietzman shared a photo of Mahomes in a post on his X account.

Mahomes is coming off of a 2024 NFL season that saw him complete 67.5% of his pass attempts for 3,928 yards, 26 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. He also ran for 307 yards and two scores.

At 29 years old, Mahomes has dealt with his fair share of criticism over the years. This may take that criticism to another level.

All of that being said, the Chiefs are set to begin their 2025 season with a September 5 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil. Fans can be assured that Mahomes will be ready to go to begin the year.
