As Juventus opens its preseason, the club appears to be engaging in its favorite annual tradition at this time of year: trying to sell Weston McKennie.
According to Tuttosport, Juventus has made McKennie available for transfer after contract extension talks stalled.
Juventus is asking between €15 million and €20 million for the 26-year-old midfielder. Clubs in Germany, England, France and Turkey have made opening inquiries for McKennie, per the report.
McKennie's current contract expires in June 2026. Though the U.S. men's national team star has reportedly been closing in on a new deal for months, no agreement has yet been reached.
That has once again led to talk that McKennie could be on his way out — though the midfielder has battled his way back to prominence for the Bianconeri after two straight summers of exit rumors.

In 2023, Juventus gave away McKennie's locker and parking spot, yet by the end of the season he led Juve in assists and had played more minutes than all but five teammates.
Prior to last season, then-coach Thiago Motta told McKennie publicly that he needed to find a new club. Only weeks later, McKennie signed a contract extension and went on to play 44 games, scoring five goals and adding four assists.
Current Juventus coach Igor Tudor started McKennie in three of the team's four matches in the FIFA Club World Cup, which ended with a 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the round of 16 last week.
