Agent out of talks for Manchester United exit–Formula blocked and has exited the scene

An agent involved in Rasmus Hojlund’s potential move from Manchester United to Inter Milan has now exited talks, after a loan formula was outright rejected.

That’s according to Inter Live, who report that Hojlund wants to remain at Manchester United unless they definitively put him on the market.

That’s yet to happen, although it has been made clear that Manchester United would be open to moving him on this summer. He’s one of several they want to move on though.

Inter Milan have been working on a loan deal with a right or an obligation to buy on a conditional basis. But Manchester United had not opened to that idea. They want a permanent sale, and such a formula is not to their liking.

That’s led Inter Milan to ‘interrupting contact’ with the intermediary who was working on it and has been following the potential operation for a while. The deal appears to be off of the table for the time being, because of Manchester United’s stance.

They are asking for something like €45-50m, a figure that it seems Inter Milan aren’t going to be offering any time soon.
