Thus, if Son departs, which looks likely this summer, Spurs must try replacing him with a quality, proven Premier League commodity. Paying £40 million for a Treble winner, Premier League proven and international footballer would ideally be a no-brainer for Spurs. However, there are several factors attached to it that would not make a potential deal for Grealish feasible.

While he still has a few years at the highest level at 29, his injury record from recent years is a big flag for any club to invest big on him.
