Leeds United have been busy on the transfer front in recent weeks as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of their Premier League return.
Lukas Nmecha, Jaka Bijol,, Sebastiaan Bornauw and Gabrile Gudmundsson have all joined Leeds in recent weeks.
Other players are in their sights, such as Newcastle United’s Sean Longstaff.
Leeds are also in pursuit of a goalkeeper, with Illan Meslier facing an uncertain future at Elland Road after being dropped late last season.
However, one goalkeeper Leeds have been monitoring is now closing in on a move to Serie A, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Leeds target Daniel Peretz closing in on Genoa move
Last month, Leeds were said to be in talks over a loan move for Bayern Munich goalkeeper Daniel Peretz.
However, speculation linking Leeds and Peretz has since petered out, and now the Israel international looks set to join Italian side Genoa.
“Genoa are in advanced talks to sign Daniel Peretz from FC Bayern,” Romano wrote on X.
“Understand official bid has been sent to Bayern for loan with buy option clause and the agreement is close.
“Peretz, top priority for goalkeeper position at Genoa this summer.”

Who Leeds may target in goal instead of Daniel Peretz
Leeds may be set to fall short in their pursuit of Peretz, but there are numerous goalkeepers on their radar.
Lyon’s Lucas Perri and Torino’s Vanja Milinkovic-Savic are among the names on Leeds’ radar, according to Sky Sports.
Leeds were previously keen on Nick Pope, but that lead is no longer as strong as the keeper wants to stay at Newcastle.
Leeds are currently prioritising outfield players as a goalkeeper would not need as much time to settle in to Daniel Farke’s system, added the report.
