Milan van Ewijk has changed agents in a move that has fuelled fears that the Coventry City star is set to leave the club this summer.
The Dutch full-back, who had been represented by FIFA licensed agent Danny Ris of Iconics Management, has switched to the higher profile CAA Stellar agency whose client list includes the likes of Man City’s Jack Grealish, Liverpool’s Ibrahima Konate, Chelsea’s Liam Delap and former Sky Blues midfielder Gustavo Hamer.
Frank Lampard last week signed highly-rated right-back Kaine Kesler-Hayden from Aston Villa for a fee somewhere between £3.5m and £5m, according to various reports, sparking speculation that Van Ewijk may be sold to fund his replacement with funds left over to help strengthen the squad elsewhere.

And while many fans will be hoping City can keep both full-backs to compete for the shirt – a position that lacked strength in depth last season with Van Ewijk the only specialised right-back at the club – it appears increasingly likely that the club will cash in on one of their bigger saleable assets who has been linked with interest from other higher placed clubs in the current and recent transfer windows.
Premier League Fulham are the latest club to be linked with interest in the defender, while Everton and Turkish giants Galatasary have previously been cited as admirers.
Announcing the switch on instagram, CAA Stellar posted a reel of Van Ewijk in action for the Sky Blues last season with the words: “Welcome... Milan van Ewijk.”
