The start of pre-season means several Manchester United stars will be donning new squad numbers this summer.
The big squad number news coming out of Manchester United is that Matheus Cunha has been handed No.10.
United’s £62.5m arrival has taken over the iconic shirt number from Marcus Rashford, who is expected to leave this summer having not been invited back to Carrington for the start of training.
There are several other stars who could make a switch, including a potential shirt number change for Kobbie Mainoo and Amad Diallo.
In the meantime, United have confirmed new numbers for three youngsters at Carrington.

New squad numbers for Shea Lacey, Bendito Mantato & Reece Munro
Last season, Chido Obi and Sekou Kone’s squad numbers were revealed when they featured in a matchday squad against Tottenham.
Ruben Amorim has shown plenty of faith in United’s academy talents, and three players have now been handed new numbers to represent their growing importance in the squad.

United confirmed that Shea Lacey has moved from No.72 to No.62, Bendito Mantato has switched from No.85 to No.70 and Reece Munro has traded No.79 for No.65.
All three youngsters will hope to push for a breakthrough in the 2025/26 campaign having impressed in United’s youth teams.
Both Lacey and Munro featured in United’s post-season tour squad for the trip to Asia this summer.
Bendito Mantato will hope to live up to Bukayo Saka comparisons
Mantato is among the most exciting talents in United’s academy, and he will be banging on Amorim’s door for a first team call-up next season.
United fans were blown away by Mantato after watching his impressive performances in the FA Youth Cup, and he appears to have the right profile to play either as a No.10 or as a wing-back in Amorim’s set-up.

Mantato has been compared to Bukayo Saka due to his style of play, with the Arsenal star also starting his career as a wing-back before converting to a winger.
In May, Mantato signed his first pro contract with United, and now he has been handed a new number to signify his importance.
