Manchester United could spring a surprise move for Almeria star Luis Suarez in the summer transfer window, according to reports - with the striker having plenty of suitors after an outstanding season in the Segunda Division of Spain last time out.
The Red Devils are in dire need of attacking recruits, having seen Rasmus Hojlund largely fail to impress with just four Premier League goals last time out, whilst Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee fared even worse with just three to his name - highlighting attacking incompetency at Old Trafford. And now Suarez has reportedly emerged onto United's shortlist to fix their issues in attack.

Suarez scored 27 league goals in 41 games for Almeria in the second-tier, though they failed to earn promotion to La Liga and that could see him depart this summer, with United boss Ruben Amorim keen on adding strikers with a prolific nature.
The Colombian has proven himself to be a complete striker. Powerful in space, 'lethal' in the area and blessed with strong finishing ability, Almeria will find it difficult to keep him this summer and United's surprise interest in signing a player from a second-tier Spanish team will only further that notion.
Teams from Serie A have also seemingly enquired over his future, though Almeria will ask for a fee of around (€25million) £21.1million for his services, with Suarez at the peak of huis powers and with four years left on his contract.
Only Darwin Nunez's departure from Almeria to Benfica would beat the potential Suarez fee, with other top talents such as Barcelona star Pedri, Premier League icon Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and Champions League final legend Diego Milito having joined top clubs from the second-tier.
Suarez has already had experience in England, although he failed to feature for Watford after signing in 2017, instead embarking on other loan spells in Spain's second-tier before joining Granada, where he notched 15 goals in 75 games for the Andalusian side, venturing on to Marseille with three goals in seven Ligue 1 games, before joining Almeria in their relegation campaign and his season-best outing last time around.
