Clarion County Fair

When: July 20-28

Where: Redbank Valley Municipal Park

The Clarion County Fair began as a one-day picnic and has grown into one of the region’s most beloved annual events. It’s a full week of family fun, featuring livestock shows, arts and crafts, carnival rides, games, live music, and more.

Grandstand events are held each day, and the former dance hall is now home to local vendors and makers. Parades and nightly entertainment round out the schedule, making this a great event for visitors of all ages.

Appalachian Mountain STOL

When: August 29-30

Where: Clarion County Airport, Shippenville

This aviation event is a showcase of skill and precision. The Appalachian Mountain STOL competition brings pilots from all over to show what their planes can do in short takeoff and landing challenges.

Admission is $15 for general entry, $70 for VIP tickets, and $100 for camping on site. Children and teens get in free. Visitors are welcome to spend the weekend camping in a tent, RV, or even their own plane.

Peanut Butter Festival

When: Sept. 19-21

Where: New Bethlehem, PA

Every September, the town of New Bethlehem hosts this fun and flavorful tradition. The Peanut Butter Festival celebrates everything people love about this hometown favorite.

There’s a peanut butter parade, a cook-off, food contests, bounce houses, fireworks, and a car show. With plenty of vendors and family activities, it’s a sweet way to wrap up the summer.
