Manchester United’s line-up for their clash with Arsenal on the opening weekend of the new season could look very different to the XI that finished last term.
Jonny Evans, Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelof have all departed Old Trafford since the end of last season, while forward Matheus Cunha has arrived from Premier League rivals Wolves.
After a 15th-placed finish in the top flight last term, the Red Devils will be desperate to improve this time around and head coach Ruben Amorim is under increasing pressure to turn things around.
Now, it appears that one member of United’s squad could soon be on his way out of Old Trafford sooner rather than later.
According to CaughtOffside, Real Betis are in talks with United over a move to re-sign winger Antony.

The winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Betis, scoring nine times in 26 games for the Spanish side.
It is claimed that the La Liga side are in talks about another loan move for the Brazilian, which would likely include an obligation-to-buy the player and a sell-on clause for Manchester United.
According to the report, United were initially demanding a fee of around £43 million for the 25-year-old, but the player could now be available for a fee closer to £30 million.
Betis are said to be open to the idea of paying a small fee for the initial loan, with a view to finalising the signing of the Brazil international next summer.
Antony joined United from Dutch side Ajax in 2022 but has struggled since arriving in England.
In total the winger has scored just 12 times in 96 games for United across all competitions, as well as providing five assists.
