Dez Bryant, retired NFL wide receiver, definitely did not like Cam Newton’s latest comments on Washington Commanders quarterback, Jayden Daniels. Daniels will soon be playing his second season with the Commanders, and plenty is expected from the dual-threat player. While Daniels is certainly a promising player, having amassed 3,568 passing yards and 25 touchdowns in his rookie season, there are many, like Cam Newton, who are skeptical about him.
In his latest podcast episode, Newton called Jayden Daniels a “one-hit wonder” and remarked that the quarterback relies too much on his athleticism. However, Bryant did not like this one bit and tweeted his reaction to Newton’s comments through his X account.
“I hate stat watchers with a passion, because I know we are speaking different languages about the game. Stat watchers are only good for fantasy and the betting community, respectively. Hours of film studying go into picking up a 3rd & 2 on the 15-yard line going in. It’s multiple meanings behind the stat that show what makes a player great.”Dez Bryant tweeted through his X account about Cam Newton’s comments on Jayden Daniels.

Dez Bryant is known for his controversial comments that he often tweets through his X account. This is of course not the first time that the retired wide-out has come out against another football player’s opinions. Cam Newton is yet to respond to Bryant’s comments about him.
Dez Bryant Called Out For Comments On Cassie
Dez Bryant got into some hot water last week when he tweeted his reaction to the verdict on Sean Diddy’s case. Diddy got away with accusations of sex trafficking and racketeering. However, he was found guilty of prostitution, for which he will face time in prison.

While many have been dropping by the comments section to show their anger for the verdict, as many believe that Diddy needs to be put away for life, Dez Bryant dropped a controversial tweet, especially about the rapper/producer’s relationship with singer Cassie. Diddy and Cassie were involved in a long, dramatic relationship in which the singer was constantly abused physically and emotionally. Cassie testified in the case surrounding Diddy.

Cassie has since then garnered a large online community that has rallied to her for support and strength. However, Bryant tweeted out that while he sympathizes with Cassie, she was definitely “no victim” and had to face the consequences of her actions. For this, Bryant has been heavily condemned on social media.
