Everton are now expected to go on the attack in the transfer window, with player contracts all sorted.
The focus for Everton in recent weeks has been dealing with players from last season, with several leaving and a few extending their deals.
Idrissa Gana Gueye delighted Everton fans by extending, while Michael Keane also signed up for another year.
And prior to those two, there were new deals for Jarrad Branthwaite and Seamus Coleman.
But Everton have lost a lot of players who will now need replacing.
As part of the exodus, two goalkeepers left the Toffees at the end of their contracts in Asmir Begovic and Joao Virginia.
That means Jordan Pickford now needs a new understudy, and Everton appear to have eyes on a Premier League stopper.

“Travers has 2 years left on his current Bournemouth deal.
“David Moyes likes him.”

Travers joined Bournemouth as a 17-year-old back in 2016 from Shamrock Rovers, and made his debut for the Cherries against Tottenham Hotspur in 2019.
Travers’ debut was notable, because at the time he became the first teenage goalkeeper to start a match in the Premier League since Joe Hart for Manchester City back in 2006.
In that game, Travers put in an inspired performance making a string of saves and helping Bournemouth to record a first ever win over Spurs.
Travers has had a few loan spells away from Bournemouth, and last term he spent the second half of the season at Middlesbrough, for whom he made 17 appearances.

Travers previously caught Seamus Coleman’s eye
It will be interesting to see if Everton do push for Travers, who has made 24 appearances in the Premier League, keeping six clean sheets.
It will hinge on whether he will be comfortable playing second fiddle to Pickford, who is still at the very top of his game.
But if he’s up for the challenge, then Everton could well get themselves a good addition.
Travers has previously praised Seamus Coleman, with the pair teammates at international level with the Republic of Ireland. He said in March 2021 (via Irish Times): “The bit I’ve seen of Mark, I’d have absolutely no doubts about him.”
Travers has also been hailed by former Weymouth manager Mark Molesley as ‘fantastic’, after giving him his senior debut during a loan spell.
He said (via the Bournemouth Echo): “When he came into Weymouth I was absolutely delighted again because he was so young at the time but absolutely no doubt about throwing him in. He was fantastic for us.”
