Manchester United are going through some major changes this summer as they try to rebuild the squad and backroom staff ready for next season.
The United hierarchy have shown commitment to Ruben Amorim, accepting that the 15th place finish in the Premier League was not a fair reflection of him and his leadership, inheriting the club when already struggling in the bottom half of the table.
Now, the Portuguese manager has the pre-season and any new signings the club can secure to prepare for next season’s fight to bounce back.

Already Matheus Cunha has joined The Red Devils’ ranks as Amorim is desperate to upgrade his front line, hoping to also add Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo into the mix.
However, United have now made a major appointment in the form of Acacio Valentim who joins the club from SC Braga.
At the Portuguese club, Valentim was the team operations manager since 2021, with the 49-year-old set to take on the same role at Old Trafford.

Record has reported that he started with The Red Devils on 1st July 2025 and is playing a leading role with the club’s internal organisation and with logistic relating to the squad.
Acacio Valentim is set to have routine, direct communication with Ruben Amorim, providing the manager with further support, allowing for more focus on the squad and their progress on the pitch.
Amorim and a select group of his squad have returned to Carrington this week for pre-season training as the group prepare not only for the new season, but also for their pre-season tour of the United States.
