The new season of Netflix's Quarterback features Cincinnati Bengals star Joe Burrow, along with Detroit Lions QB Jared Goff and longtime NFL veteran Kirk Cousins of the Atlanta Falcons.

With Season 2 of the seven-episode Quarterback series having dropped on Tuesday, July 8, there's already been a few interesting nuggets pulled from this latest iteration.

Quickly rising to the top of the front page has been Burrow and the $2.9 million Batmobile replica he had been so set on purchasing as recently as last year's in-season edition of HBO's Hard Knocks, with the popular series centering around the AFC North, the Bengals' division.

Sometimes, however, things like getting excited to throw down roughly three million dollars for a Batmobile takes a significant backseat to real life events, even for someone like Burrow, a guy who's currently under contract that pays him an average annual salary of $55 million.

"I didn't end up getting the Batmobile because I just had other things I wanted to deal with at that point," Burrow said on Quarterback. "I just get uncomfortable when my life is very public and you know that comes with the job, but there's certain parts of your life that are yours, and your house is one of those," Burrow said in reference to his home being broken into and ransacked while the Bengals were on the road against the Cowboys in Week 14 last season.

There are several aspects of Burrow's life as a top NFL star that are downright impossible for most people to find relatable.

But the 28-year-old QB expressing that that are "certain parts of your life that are yours, and your house is one of those," might be as relatable as it gets.

"When that gets violated and people find out where you live and all these different things, not everybody's failures at their job are in front of the whole world," Burrow said. "It's a very vulnerable position to be in. I put myself in that position because I love it [football]. I don't like the other part of it."

While ultimately deciding not to purchase the Batmobile, which is most certainly not the end of the world and entirely understandable given the break-in that occurred last December, it's really kind of a shame because Burrow sounded genuinely excited about the whole thing when initially sharing the news with teammates on Hard Knocks.

Burrow jokingly said in the above clip, "I think I gotta go all in and go, for like, the expensive Batsuit ... some [Batman] armor."

From what it looks like, purchase or no purchase, based on this exchange between Burrow and star wide receiver Tee Higgins, the Batmobile topic looks thoroughly entertaining in Season 2 of Quarterback.

It's worth pointing out that after the "Batmobile" episode of Hard Knocks had aired last season, it was only a couple weeks later where Higgins memorably chose to gift Burrow with a brand new name, upgrading his superhero status in blunt fashion:

"The motherf----- looked like Superman when he was throwing it. I'm calling him Superman from this day forward. F--- Batman. Superman ... Superman, that's all I can say."
