Ticket Prices for Bronny James Summer League Game Are Going Viral

Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers will begin their Las Vegas Summer League schedule Thursday with a highly-anticipated matchup.

James and his teammates will be going up against the Dallas Mavericks and their much-ballyhooed rookie Cooper Flagg, who was the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft last month. Flagg is one of the most anticipated young American stars in a while, and fans are sure to be keyed in on his summer debut.

If you're looking to watch Lakers-Mavericks in person at the Thomas & Mack Center, it's going to cost you. Per TickPick, the average ticket price of $201 is an NBA Summer League record.

Additionally, seats in the lower bowl are going for $650, with courtside spots listed at a whopping $2,500. Even if fans try to wait these prices out in the hope they will drop by tipoff, the tickets are still going to be on the expensive side.

Flagg was the consensus No. 1 overall pick for months leading up to the draft. Standing 6-foot-8, the 18-year-old standout showcased his versatility in his lone season at Duke, and Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd said last month he wants to experiment with Flagg at point guard this season.

"Just understanding the guys that I've been around that have been young, from Giannis, giving him the ball, and he failed," Kidd said. "But he wanted to come back and have the ball, so I'm excited about giving [Flagg] the ball against the Lakers and see what happens. Let's get it started right off the bat."

As for James, this will be his second year in the NBA Summer League after the Lakers took him in the second round in 2024.

As a rookie, LeBron's oldest son split his time between Los Angeles and the G League, averaging 2.3 points and 0.8 assists in 27 games at the NBA level.

Lakers-Mavericks is set for 8 p.m. ET Thursday night on ESPN.
