Man Utd, PSG Suffer Transfer Blow as Galatasaray Ready to Trigger €75M Release Clause

PSGhad been tracking Victor Osimhen for more than a year, but it now looks like the long-running saga iscoming to anend—with neither PSG nor Manchester United landing the Nigerian striker.

GiveMeSportpreviously reported that Manchester Unitedwas growing increasingly worried about PSG’s pursuit, as the French giantswere seen as the favorites to trigger his £63 million release clause and meet his wage demands. But in the end, that move never happened.

According toCorriere dello Sport, Osimhen now wants to stay at Galatasaray. The Turkish side pushed hard to keep him, putting forward a €16 million-per-year salary package, which the striker has agreed to.

Now, it’s up to Galatasaray to strike a deal with Napoli. The Italian club is sticking to the €75 million release clause and has no plans to lower their asking price.
