Manchester United are looking to rebuild their squad under Ruben Amorim, aiming to improve after a disastrous 15th-place Premier League finish.
As such, Amorim is attempting to transform this Manchester United side into one capable of playing his preferred 3-4-3 system.
Having already confirmed the signing of Matheus Cunha earlier in the summer, United are now targeting further additions, currently prioritising Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo.
The pair are perfect examples of the new INEOS strategy, targeting proven Premier League stars of 26 years old or under.
The aim is to build a squad capable of competing in the short term, but more importantly, one that is sustainable in the long term.
However, the club are also looking for younger stars who can build into the first squad to provide even more longevity.

Now, according to Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United have made enquiries for Southampton’s Tyler Dibling.
United have held long-term interest in Dibling, with the youngster showing real potential despite The Saints’ relegation last season.
However, Tottenham, Nottingham Forest and West Ham are reportedly also interested in the young forward, with Southampton setting their asking price at between £47 million and £56 million.
Tim Steidten, current West Ham technical director has described Tyler Dibling as “an outstanding player – with that street football mentality, that special dynamism. He is a player who can suddenly stop, turn, and accelerate again. His first touch is exceptional. He has immense potential”

As such, Dibling would be an excellent fit for Ruben Amorim’s system having the ability to play between the lines, receive the ball in tough areas and manage to withstand contact when under pressure.
He also can carry the ball over long distances, as well as having versatility for squad building – allowing him to potentially play as part of the attacking trio or as wing-back under Ruben Amorim.
At this time however, no concrete offers have been received by Southampton, meaning the door for the talented youngster is still wide open.
🚨🔴⚪️ So far, Southampton have not received any concrete offers for Tyler #Dibling, but there have been many enquiries. Understand Manchester United, Tottenham, Forest and West Ham are keen on him. Southampton’s price valuation is set at €55–65m.
