Victor Osimhen is looking set to leave Napoli as the talent striker has informed the Serie A side of his decision leave Italy.
The Nigeria international has been on The Red Devils shortlist for some time as Ruben Amorim is in need of a proven goalscorer to lead his front line.
Unfortunately faith in Rasmus Hojlund appears to have dwindled following his 21 game goal drought, leading the club to scout targets like Osimhen, Viktor Gyokeres and Hugo Ekitike.

However, United have seemingly lost out on Gyokeres to Arsenal whilst Osimhen is also pushing for a move elsewhere.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Osimhen is very keen to make his loan move to Galatasaray permanent.
It’s understood that the striker’s three-year contract has been ready for him since Sunday, with Osimhen now telling Napoli he wants the move sorted ASAP.
With the Nigerian striker pushing for the move now, it’s expected that Osimhen is happy with his contract offer, signing off his side of the deal.
As such, all that’s left is the club-to-club negotiations which can be partially avoided due to the player’s release clause.

Galatasaray are reportedly happy to trigger his £65 million release clause, however want to negotiate with Napoli for a five-year payment plan to spread the cost out.
With Victor Osimhen not featuring in Antonio Conte’s long-term plans at the club, his departure is unlikely to make an impact to life for the Italian champions, only supporting his move away from the club.
