Liverpool not budging on Diaz price as Barca and Bayern eye transfer

Liverpool forward Luis Diaz has attracted interest from Barcelona and Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window but a transfer still looks tricky for either side to pull off.

According to Cadena SER, Liverpool will not be swayed on price and are continuing to demand a fee of £70 million (€82m) for the Colombia international.

Barcelona had been hoping to negotiate the price down but that looks unlikely, meaning they will be hoping Diaz can help them out.

The attacker is believed to be eager to sign for the Catalans, and the hope will be that he can put some pressure on Liverpool to sell him at a cheaper price.

Diaz is contracted to the Reds until 2027 and there are no plans at present to extend his contract at Anfield.

In the meantime, Bayern will be watching on with interest. The Bavarians are in a stronger financial position than Barca but it’s not clear if they are willing to meet Liverpool’s asking price.
