Transfer talks: Arsenal have their eye on all of Rodrygo, Viktor Gyokeres and Eberechi Eze this summer
Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United all continue to push for huge signings as the summer transfer window dominates headlines. Arsenal are in advanced talks over a blockbuster move for Viktor Gyokeres, but have yet to agree a fee with Sporting with a surprise potential Plan B having now emerged. The Gunners have also been boosted over Rodrygo and are said to be considering a swap deal for Eberechi Eze, with the likes of Noni Madueke, Anthony Gordon and Cristhian Mosquera also firmly on their radar.
Chelsea may seek to leverage Arsenal’s interest in Madueke as they target Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman, while they also have their eye on Morgan Rogers. Manchester United need to act fast over a frustrated Bryan Mbeumo, with Goncalo Inacio a new name on their shortlist after strong links to Javi Guerra and strikers such as Moise Kean and even Jamie Vardy.
Tottenham are still intent on signing Mohammed Kudus and are rumoured to be looking at Jack Grealish and Koni De Winter, while Marcus Rashford could head to Barcelona and West Ham try to sign El Hadji Malick Diouf. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!
Arsenal are pondering a potential offer for Eberechi Eze that would see one of their players head to Crystal Palace in part-exchange.
Eze is another top target for the Gunners this summer as they seek to significantly upgrade all over the pitch in a bid to finally end their major trophy drought under Mikel Arteta.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are now open to including a first-team player as part of the deal for the England midfielder, who is said to want to move to the Emirates Stadium over both Tottenham and Liverpool.

The Real Madrid star features prominently on Mikel Arteta’s list of targets as he looks to pair the addition of a top-level striker such as Viktor Gyokeres with a new high-profile winger signing this summer.
It looked like Arsenal’s pursuit of Rodrygo was in real danger over the weekend as news of rival interest from Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr was widely reported.
However, Fabrizio Romano now claims that speculation over the Saudi club and Rodrygo is wide of the mark, with the latter focused on remaining in Europe.

The Gunners are in advanced talks over a massive deal for the prolific Swedish striker, but have still yet to agree a fee with Sporting.
Now according to The Sun, Gyokeres is said to have a Plan B if discussions with Arsenal fall through that would see him wait until the end of the summer window and move to another European club on loan - much like Victor Osimhen did last season.
Brentford are looking to appoint a new set-piece coach following Keith Andrews' promotion to head coach, writes Sam Tabuteau.
The Bees turned heads recently when they opted to promote from within to appoint Andrews, who only last summer was made Brentford's set-piece coach, as the successor to long-standing head coach Thomas Frank.
It means Brentford, who were among the first clubs to appoint a dedicated set-piece coach when they hired Gianni Vio in 2015, are once again in the market for a set-piece specialist, having just last year appointed Andrews to replace Chelsea-bound Bernardo Cueva.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been looking to add to his backroom staff after assistant coach Carlos Cuesta became Parma’s head coach earlier this summer.
A statement reads: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of Gabriel Heinze to our coaching staff as men’s First Team Coach.
“We are excited with the introduction of Gabriel to our men’s first-team coaching staff, and welcome him and his family to Arsenal.”
Manchester United summer signing Matheus Cunha has learned of his squad number for the 2025-26 campaign, and it spells disaster for one of his teammates.
The Brazilian was the first senior signing of the summer for United as Ruben Amorim looks to overhaul his squad following a dismal season.
Cunha will don the coveted No10 shirt, joining a long line of legendary players such as Wayne Rooney and Bobby Charlton in doing so.
The Black Cats are back in the market and have added another big name to the squad, this time in the shape of former Atletico Madrid full-back Reinildo Mandava.
He said: “It is a dream come true because it has always been my ambition to play in the Premier League – and I can’t wait to play for a historic club like Sunderland."
