Manchester City winger Jack Grealish continues to face an uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium.
The England international has fallen out of favour under Pep Guardiola and didn’t even make Manchester City’s Club World Cup squad.
Grealish is free to leave the Etihad Stadium, and a number of Premier League clubs have all expressed an interest in the 29-year-old.
Ben Jacobs has now discussed what he knows regarding Tottenham Hotspur and their interest in Grealish.

Tottenham have discussed Jack Grealish but there’s a ‘little bit of a stumbling block’
Jacobs, speaking on talkSPORT’s YouTube channel, claimed that Tottenham have indeed discussed a potential swoop for Grealish.
However, Jacobs claimed things are “not advancing” between Tottenham and Grealish, partly due to the player’s wages.

In addition, what happens regarding Son Heung-min’s future at Spurs could have a big impact on whether they pursue Grealish,
“Tottenham have discussed Grealish and, despite the fact that Mathys Tel has signed permanently… they could add another left-sided player too,” said Jacobs.
“Things are not advancing with Grealish at the moment. The wage is a little bit of a stumbling block from Tottenham’s perspective, too.
“So I don’t think they’re going to be in a position to bid for Jack Grealish just now, although they have held a conversation internally about that market opportunity.
“And obviously if Tottenham add somebody on that left-hand side, they may want to resolve the future of Son as well, which my expectation is could come a little bit later in the window because Son’s going to go off to pre-season.”
Jacobs also said he wasn’t aware of anything developing between Grealish – reportedly available for $40million – and Newcastle United.

Thomas Tuchel’s advice for Jack Grealish
England manager Thomas Tuchel recently suggested that Grealish needs to leave Man City, as he won’t be considered for the squad if he continues to struggle for game time.
“I have maybe the same information as you that City are thinking of not taking him to the Club World Cup,” Tuchel said in June.
“So he needs to make himself available by playing. I think it’s one of his key strengths. To go every three days and get better and better with every minute that he has in his legs. That’s what is missing, nothing else.
“I love Jack for his personality and of course, his talent. He is a very unique player who can handle big pressure on the field. He is never shy of pressure. It’s the opposite.
“He grows in big matches, but he’s a player who needs minutes and minutes and minutes and simply does not get them for a very long time. That’s basically everything. Nothing has changed.”
Ally McCoist has also advised Grealish to leave Man City over the coming months, as his situation at the Etihad is not expected to change.
Grealish once said he would love a return to Aston Villa, his boyhood club, one day.
