Sky Sports: Club ready to 'terminate contract' of £315,000-a-week striker who wants to join Man …

Juventus are open to the idea of terminating Dusan Vlahovic’s contract amid recent links with Manchester United, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has revealed.

The Serie A club will reportedly propose the idea of terminating Vlahovic’s deal to his agents as they look to offload his eye-watering salary from their books.

Vlahovic is believed to be one of the best-paid players in the Italian top flight, earning a whopping £315,000 per week.

The Serbia international was linked with a move to Man United earlier this summer and is said to be open to the idea of joining forces with Ruben Amorim before the new season.

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Vlahovic is ‘desperate’ to test himself in the Premier League and remains hopeful Man United will pounce amid his availability on the market.

The Serbian striker is believed to be seeking a contract worth £200,000 per week at his new club and prefers a move to England despite long-standing admirers from sides in Turkey.

Vlahovic, who joined Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022, scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 41 appearances across all competitions last season.

He also netted twice in the Club World Cup in the United States, where Juventus were eliminated in the Round of 16 tie against Real Madrid.

Man United have been heavily focused on rebuilding Amorim’s frontline this summer, with Matheus Cunha announced as their first arrival last month.

The Red Devils continue working on a deal to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo, with further talks between clubs expected this week.
