Double Everton exit now being discussed with club-to-club talks ongoing - insider

Everton have already seen a number of players depart the club this summer as free agents.

David Moyes will be hoping it is now time for the Toffees to replenish their squad with a host of new faces.

A deal for Thierno Barry to join Everton is almost complete, with the Frenchman currently on Merseyside to complete his move.

However, it seems as if there could be even more players heading for the exit at Finch Farm over the coming days.

Everton lost a number of players at the end of their contracts in June, but the club could look to sanction some further exits.

Everton in talks over Stockport County for Roman Dixon and Tyler Onyango

Moyes has admitted he wants lots of new Everton signings to start coming through the doors ahead of the United States tour.

But it looks as if his numbers could soon be set to decrease again, with talks over a potential double exit underway.

According to one club insider, Everton are now engaged in talks with League One Stockport County over two young prospects.

It is believed Roman Dixon and Tyler Onyango are both of interest to Stockport, with the Hatters keen to bring in the two Everton youngsters.

Interestingly, it is not clarified whether the talks are over a loan move or whether it could actually be on a permanent basis for both players.

Moyes did say Dixon was not in his plans earlier in the year, but this is a player who is highly thought of at Finch Farm.

If a route under Moyes is not emerging into the first team, perhaps the club are looking to bring in some additional funds this summer.

Everton youngsters face difficult route into first team

Ironically, it is a summer where the club could do with some of their youngsters stepping up and making a name for themselves.

Everton have around £100m to spend in what is going to be a huge summer, with plenty of new faces required to bolster the squad.

Considering the number of additions needed by Moyes, having some homegrown talents impress this summer would be a real boost.

Harrison Armstrong is hoping to impress Moyes following his return from a short stint out on loan in the Championship.

It seems as if Dixon and Onyango could be heading off in the coming days, but it will be intriguing to see whether it is on a permanent basis or just a loan.
