£83M Valued Frenchman given a“very substantial”offer to sign up with Arsenal

Reports in France claim that William Saliba has been given a “very substantial” offer to extend his contact with ARSENAL in a bid to keep Spanish giants Real Madrid from trying to get a deal done over the next few months and windows.

The Frenchman has established himself as a key player and regular under manager Mikel Arteta over the last two campaigns, playing a crucial role in their last two campaigns as they finished second behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.

He is one of the big reasons why ARSENAL have been so defensively good over the past few seasons, and his partnership with Gabriel is arguably one of the very best in the Premier League and maybe even the Champions League.

His commanding performances at the back have made him one of the most sought-after young defenders in Europe and as Real looks to bolster their squad for the future, Saliba appears to be at the top of their wish list.

However – Le 10 Sport suggest that Saliba has been offered “very attractive terms” as the Gunners hope to tie their star centre-back and fend off interest from Real Madrid.

Saliba, 24, last signed an extension at the Emirates in 2023 and his current terms run until the summer of 2027.

Arsenal want to ensure he is locked into a long-term deal to avoid losing the Frenchman to Madrid for free in two years time, similarly to how the Spanish giants have signed the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

*ARSENAL*dont want to sell Saliba, he seems happy enough for now and that is why we cant see him leaving the Emirates unless the Gunners get an offer that is far too good to turn down.

We are sure that a new contract will get signed, it just may not be this summer window
