Tarik Biberovic turns down NBA for Fenerbahce extension

Tarik Biberovic has reportedly rejected an offer from the Memphis Grizzlies and signed a new three-year deal with Fenerbahce.

After losing Nigel Hayes-Davis, Marko Guduric, and Errick McCollum this offseason, Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul are at least holding on to wing Tarik Biberovic.

According to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Biberovic has rejected an offer from the Memphis Grizzlies and agreed to a new three-year deal with Fenerbahce.

The 24-year-old has been with the club since 2018, helping them win three Turkish League titles, four Turkish Cups, and the EuroLeague championship.

Biberovic played a vital role in Fenerbahce's 2025 EuroLeague semifinal win over Panathinaikos, scoring 15 points. Over the 2024–25 EuroLeague season, he averaged 10.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 8.4 PIR in 37 games.

Although the Grizzlies hold his NBA rights—having drafted him 56th overall in 2023—Biberovic told BasketNews during the Final Four in Abu Dhabi that any NBA discussions would wait until his season with Fenerbahce was complete.
