Fabrizio Romano: £20m Everton target has just decided what club he wants to join

Everton players have now returned to training in what is perhaps the biggest summer in the club’s recent history.

David Moyes will be delighted to get back to work with the Friedkins finally able to splash some of their cash.

The January transfer window saw Everton struggle with their ability to spend hamstrung by their major PSR concerns.

Everton are closing in on signing Thierno Barry, with the France U21 international now believed to be on Merseyside to complete a deal.

Landing Barry from Villarreal will hopefully be just the start for Moyes, who will be wanting to see a lot of new faces come through the doors at Finch Farm.

Everton are prioritising attacking signings this summer following another season of struggles in front of goal.

With a striker set to sign for the Blues, Everton will be looking for quality on the flanks, and the decision of one target has now been made.

Timothy Weah decides whether to join Everton

With creativity needed to get the best out of Barry, Everton have shown an interest in Timothy Weah from Juventus.

It is believed Marseille are set to win the race for Weah despite strong interest landing his way from a number of Premier League clubs.

Weah rejected a £20m move to Nottingham Forest just a matter of days ago, as he now looks set to move to the south of France.

The flanks are a clear area for improvement at Everton and Moyes has demanded a new winger since he returned to the club.

Clearly, Weah will not be switching Turin for Merseyside this summer.

Everton must replicate Iliman Ndiaye signing at right wing

Last summer, Everton signed Iliman Ndiaye from Marseille – ironically – in what proved to be a real masterstroke from the Blues.

Jamie Carragher has been wowed by Ndiaye and suggested the Toffees could do with some more players like him.

The Senegal international has lit up the left wing, but there has been a lot left to be desired by last season’s options on the other flank.

Ndiaye has proven to be a player capable of lifting Everton fans off their seats with his creative spark.

There was a clear imbalance in Everton’s attack last season, with the right-wingers really struggling in front of goal.

Everton are interested in re-signing Jack Harrison this summer, but they must bring in an exciting option to become their new starting right-winger.
