Everton are on the hunt for attacking talent as David Moyes has significant holes to fill in his squad.
The Toffees are closing in on a deal for Thierno Barry, who has posted an emotional parting message to Villarreal.
Jesper Lindstrom and Jack Harrison have both returned to their respective clubs following their loans, meaning Moyes is short of wingers.
Eveton have already enquired about Juventus man Timothy Weah, and there has been a significant update on his future.

Weah discussions taking place to leave Juventus
Olympique Marseille are challenging Everton for Weah, and have made their approach already.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The 25-year-old has been with the Old Lady for two and a half years, having signed from Lille in 2023.
Last season, the United States international made 30 Serie A appearances, although a chunk of those came from the bench.
Weah notched seven league goal contributions last season and made one appearance in the FIFA Club World Cup.

Now, discussions between Marseille and the 25-year-old are progressing well, according to Foot Mercato (8 July).
They report that while no agreement has been reached, the winger wants to join the Ligue 1 club.
The French outlet notes that Everton, Leeds United, and Tottenham are watching Weah, with a fee of just under £13million set for the player.
Now, the Toffees may be forced to make their move if they want to step in.

Weah worth a low-risk Everton gamble
Given how cheap Weah could be available for this summer, he presents a cost-effective signing for Everton.
His numbers for Juve were respectable last season, given the number of appearances he made as a substitute.
Weah’s 11 goal contributions were the best of his career and were more than what Lindstrom and Harrison achieved combined at Goodison Park.
Moreover, at 25, the USA international has considerable time ahead of him to improve his game and his output, with the help of Moyes and his staff.
Everton could do with a couple of additions on the right, and signing Weah would be a worthwhile acquisition.
