Man United Star Could Seal Old Trafford Exit "In The Next Week" After Breakthrough Is Made

Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho could seal a permanent move to Juventus “in the next week”, according to journalist Graeme Bailey.

Speaking to United In Focus, Bailey confirmed that Sancho has now accepted personal terms below his current £250,000 a week salary and, combined with United’s willingness to get the deal done, Juve now feel an agreement is in sight:

“We are told that Juventus’ new general manager, Damien Comolli, believes he has made progress on the deal. He feels that Sancho has agreed to a wage drop whilst also securing a suitable pay-off from Man United. He believes Juventus are well-placed to secure a deal…”

“Comolli is accelerating talks, and he believes he can strike an agreement in the next week, as long as talks continue as they are.”

How much will Juventus pay for Sancho?

Reports in the Italian media suggest that the Serie A side are open to paying around €25m (£21.6m) for the 25-year-old, which is not too different to the figure that Chelsea agreed to pay before they pulled the plug on signing the player on a permanent basis.

Bailey mentioned, though, that Juve are hoping that Man United will also lower their asking price in order to get Sancho off the club’s books.

What is the latest on Man United’s other unwanted players?

Marcus Rashford is still said to be hopeful of securing a move to Barcelona, although it is believed that the Catalan club’s top target is Liverpool’s Luis Diaz.

Antony’s transfer to Real Betis is being held up over concerns about the Brazilian’s wage demands, while Alejandro Garnacho is not likely to leave any time soon.

His two main suitors, Chelsea and Napoli, have decided to sign other players, with the former tying up a deal for Borussia Dortmund’s Jamie Gittens, while the latter are set to snap up PSV Eindhoven’s Noa Lang.
