Marcus Rashford has no future at Manchester United, and that was further made evident on Tuesday when the Red Devils handed the No.10 shirt to Matheus Cunha.
The England international hasn’t joined the rest of the group for preseason training, although he has been at Carrington training alone. His desire is to join Barcelona, and they have his name on their agenda this summer.
Wednesday’s edition of Sport states the La Liga winners are very attentive to his situation at Manchester United.
The forward has a good chance of arriving at the Camp Nou, after Barca’s sporting leaders gave their approval. However, the Catalan club don’t want to rush and will take their time, presumably waiting for Manchester United to open up to the deal they want, with a loan again being mentioned.
Hansi Flick’s side are aware the 27-year-old dreams of joining them and is willing to wait to achieve it. Sport warn that if he’s in a hurry to decide his future and accept another club, then the attacker can’t move to Barca.
Rashford has to be ‘patient and know how to play his cards right’. If he does this, Sport state his chances of fulfilling his dream of playing for Barcelona will be high, especially since it’s complicated for them to sign Liverpool’s Luis Díaz.
