While they've already been linked to Bradley Beal—emerging as frontrunners should he agree to a buyout with the Phoenix Suns—the LA Clippers are keeping their options open.
According to NBA insider Michael Scotto, Malcolm Brogdon has also drawn interest from the team, as has veteran point guard Chris Paul.
Brogdon is expected to be a sought-after free agent, with several contenders—including the Suns, Lakers, Warriors, Pelicans, Kings, and Bucks—reportedly keeping tabs on him.
Now 32, Brogdon has struggled with injuries in recent years, playing just 63 games over the last two seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards.
After undergoing thumb surgery before the start of last season, he managed only 24 appearances for Washington, averaging 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
Meanwhile, Paul, 40, just finished his 20th season in the NBA, having suited up for seven different teams throughout his Hall of Fame-caliber career.
He played in all 82 games this past season for the San Antonio Spurs and posted solid numbers with 8.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists per game.
