I’ve been watching cornerbacks play this game for decades. I’ve seen Champ Bailey in his prime. Many of us got to watch Aqib Talib and Chris Harris, Jr., absolutely lock it down at cornerback.
Patrick Surtain II may be better than all of them. He’s completely dialed in each week and ready to take on the best wide receivers that the NFL has to offer. And honestly, he just chews them up and spits them out.
It is good to see that he’s getting the recognition from his peers in the NFL and those that cover the sport to be voted as possibly the best player from last season.
Hit up the official post in the lead-off article in today’s Horse Tracks to get the link to go vote for Surtain in this year’s ESPYS!
