Celtic kept up their 100% win record in friendlies this summer in Ireland.
After beating Queen’s Park 1-0 in Mount Florida, Brendan Rodgers watched his side secure a 2-1 victory over Cork City to win the inaugural Cork Super Cup.
Hayato Inamura impressed on his Celtic debut, while Rodgers loved young Colby Donovan’s performance at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
Celtic fans haven’t yet seen Kieran Tierney play this summer, while Reo Hatate and Cameron Carter-Vickers haven’t got any minutes yet.
The latter two are stepping up their recoveries from respective injuries and Rodgers delivered further updates on the pair after beating Cork.

Carter-Vickers could face Newcastle United
Rodgers explained to the press that Carter-Vickers continues to train on his own with the physios after undergoing surgery in the close season.
And the Celtic boss thinks the defender could be available for Newcastle United friendly at Celtic Park on Saturday, July 19.
He said: “Cam, again, just working with the conditioners on the field on his own and we’re thinking around about either just before or just after Newcastle he’ll be ready to play.

Reo Hatate ‘looking really strong’ after injury
As mentioned, Celtic midfielder Hatate is also stepping up his recovery, although he is further ahead in the timeline than Carter-Vickers.
The Japanese playmaker was spotted training with his fellow squad members in Cork before the 2-1 victory in the city on Tuesday night.
Hatate did not feature, but Rodgers has intimated that he is encouraged by Hatate’s efforts in training since reporting back for duty.
Rodgers said: “Reo is fine. He’s been training since he’s come back and looked really good. He’s looked really strong so no repercussions of the injury.”
