Hapoel Tel Aviv have signed a two-year deal with Tyler Ennis, who returns to the club after a strong EuroCup season with Reyer Venezia and brings NBA and EuroLeague experience.
EuroLeague newcomers Hapoel Tel Aviv continue to strengthen their roster for next season.
After Donatas Urbonas of BasketNews reported that the club had secured Chris Jones as their new starting point guard, Hapoel officially announced the signing of Tyler Ennis. Both sides agreed on a two-year deal.
"I am very excited to return to Hapoel Tel Aviv and take part in the club's journey in the historic season in the EuroLeague. Hapoel is a special club," he said. "The last time I ended on social media with the words 'See you next time' -- and I meant it."
The 30-year-old Canadian returns to Hapoel after a brief stint with the team in 2024. Last season, he played for Reyer Venezia in Italy, where he averaged 13.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 4.6 assists, and 16.6 PIR across 13 EuroCup games.
Ennis brings some EuroLeague experience, having appeared in three games for Fenerbahce during the 2018–19 season, averaging 6.3 points before an injury ended his campaign early.

A former standout at Syracuse University, Ennis was selected 18th overall in the 2014 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns.
He also spent time in the NBA with the Milwaukee Bucks, Houston Rockets, and Los Angeles Lakers, as well as in the G League with Bakersfield and Raptors 905.
Since moving to Europe, Ennis has played for Fenerbahce, Turk Telekom Ankara, Tofas Bursa, Napoli Basket, and most recently, Reyer Venezia.
