There’s a claim in the Turkish media that Nottingham Forest are showing interest in Benfica forward Kerem Akturkoglu.
The 26-year-old impressed in his debut season with the Portuguese club, bringing him to the attention of clubs across Europe.

He revealed the player isn’t interested in a return to the Super Lig unless it was to re-join his former club Galatasaray.
Kaplan went on to say Akturkoglu is receiving interest from England and that Nottingham Forest had commenced negotiations with his club.
According to the Turkish journalist Benfica want €45m for the Turkey intentional, which appears to be over the top.
_“Kerem Akturkoglu has absolutely no plans to play for any other team in Turkey other than Galatasaray. Three teams from the Premier League follow him. Nottingham Forrest are the first team to contact Benfica. €45m was requested. Even if the demand is high, the negotiations continue,”_ said Kaplan.
With Anthony Elanga on the verge of signing for Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest could be in the market for a replacement winger. However, there is likely to be other options in mind before Akturkoglu, especially at such a hefty transfer fee,
Akturkoglu made 53 appearances in all competitions last season, scoring 16 goals, He’s contracted to Benfica until June 2029.
