According to talkSPORT, both English clubs are keen. But, the reports suggest the young defender prefers to stay in Italy at this time. Inter Milan are in the mix as well. So, that could sway Leoni’s mind. Although, Spurs and Liverpool are known for developing youngsters. However, they would find it a hard to get the youngster to move to England.

He is very comfortable on the ball, and his positioning is sharp. Hopefully if a deal is done, he wouldn’t need too much time to settle.

Liverpool are currently short of depth at the back. Injuries to Joe Gomez and the exit of Jarell Quansah have left gaps in Arne Slot’s side. Signing a player like Leoni could be an good long-term move. The club’s ability to develop young players is likely to benefit them in their talks with both Parma.

Tottenham are exploring defensive options as well. It is likely that Ange Postecoglu is looking at alternative targets already.

Although Leoni isn’t ready to step into such big shoes just yet. But, Spurs might view him as a project worth investing in. However, convincing the player that he won’t be stuck on the bench will be key.

Whether it’s Anfield or North London, Leoni’s next move will need to be one that puts his growth first.
